  "Description": "Datasets and functions for the book \"Modélisation\nstatistique par la pratique avec R\", F. Bertrand, E. Claeys and\nM. Maumy-Bertrand (2019, ISBN:9782100793525, Dunod, Paris). The\nfirst chapter of the book is dedicated to an introduction to\nthe R statistical software. The second chapter deals with\ncorrelation analysis: Pearson, Spearman and Kendall simple,\nmultiple and partial correlation coefficients. New wrapper\nfunctions for permutation tests or bootstrap of matrices of\ncorrelation are provided with the package. The third chapter is\ndedicated to data exploration with factorial analyses (PCA, CA,\nMCA, MDA) and clustering. The fourth chapter is dedicated to\nregression analysis: fitting and model diagnostics are\ndetailed. The exercises focus on covariance analysis, logistic\nregression, Poisson regression, two-way analysis of variance\nfor fixed or random factors. Various example datasets are\nshipped with the package: for instance on pokemon, world of\nwarcraft, house tasks or food nutrition analyses.",
